Well guys, had it running for a day or so and then the pump failed. Thats the second MCP355 in a row.
Now I understand why there is so much rage on the net about this pump... zzzzzz.
Bought a DD CPX-1 instead, should be here in a couple days.

    Sorry for the delay!

Are yoy sure you're not running the pump dry. That will destroy it...

Hahah no, I have an acrylic top and I can see quite easily the flow of the liquid.

It just did the classic "dead for no reason" thing that the MCP355/laing3.whatevers do.

    MWAAAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH!

Soon... soon it will finally... end.

Just recieved these puppies. Gonna throw them in my almost completed box to finally put her together.

Not going to sleeve the PSU cables - im going to make my own. All black like corsair does. Sleeving them adds too much bulk to the cable diameter in such a small case.

Im gonna start working on it again tonight, and post it all at once when im done.
Unless I do something awesome and feel I have to post it right away. :thumb:

While I was redoing the thermal past for the northbridge I noticed something.

On my rampage 2 gene matx board there is some extra VRM's underneath the northbridge heatsink:

But looking at the northbridge sink, there arent cooled.

    Nothing is touching them.

    So...

    Fixed!

Now they get cooled as well.

I know im not done yet, but I thought anyone using a ramp 2 gene might want to know about this, as it could hinder your overclocks.

    Thanks Ash!

I have the same Motherboard and been having problems overclocking now that summer is here. I'll take a look at those chips.

Looking forward to the rest of your mod.

    Just a small update.

I thought I would show you guys the new fittings in action.

Basically, because I swap stuff around a lot I wanted to be able to take out any component in my system without draining the loop. Thus, I needed some quick disconnects.

Koolance, without a doubt, make the best quick disconnects... BUT... their compression fitting system is kinda leaky. No where near as good as bitspower barbs.

So, the plan was get SCREW IN versions of the male and female quick disconnects, on into the block, then a coupler on the other - and on the couple we of course fit a bitspower barb.

    Best of both worlds!

So heres what it looks like:

    And there we go.

Pretty much the back half done!

Last night I started building the power cables too, and have 2 PCIE connectors done, taking about 20 minutes each.

Sleeving the old cables took much much longer.

    Never again.

Should have power cables completed tonight!

Sorry about the low quality, not sure what happened there.

As I said before, when shes done I will photograph it properly with a better cam.

Pictures pretty much speak for themselves re: positioning, new cables, etc.

Now all thats left is put in the blu-ray drive in the other side and its done!

Looks good, some powerful cooling in a small case.

Edit: You can't see the green o-rings on the matte black bitspower fittings can you, it doesn't look like it, but i'm getting some and I wanted to be sure.
