Modding Life expectancy of cold cathode

    Just wondering, what is the life expectancy of a cold cathode light (PCMods)? I use it at night mainly, for about 3hrs a day.

    I'm sure I read somewhere that it was about 15,000 hours...so with your current usage, I make that 13years life!

    as long as you don't break it, it will last a lifetime basically. But they're all gonna end up dying before that from breakage....they're so damn fragile :(

    well no, but how many people do you know that had a cathode die of old age, and how many people do you know who've had cathodes dies of breakage ?

    I know of someone who broke their cold cathode.... me :(
