    Well after many years dreaming and a few years saving it did finally happen, my 1997 Ford Escort 1.4 got replaced...

    The insurance is't extremely bad but sure it is not like the Ford, more like 3 x Ford...

    Gatso detector with GPS+ radar and other usefull gadgets will be added as soon as I can afford it.

    Well on all TVRs you have small pushbuttons under the mirrors to open the doors electronically.

    No keys used at all actually since ignition is done with a start button.

    Gorgeous car mate.

    Getting in a TVR for the first time is fun if you dont know about the button under the wing mirror, I only found out cos I tried to get in one at a car show.

    Thanks, it is a 10 year old dream finally coming true.

    I know that feeling of getting in to a TVR the first time as well. For me it was at a TVR dealer last year. "Ehm, excuse me, how do I open the door?" Well he had understanding and in the end I got a testdrive with a brand new Tuscan S... :naughty:

    Gorgeous car....need some sound clips of the engine though whilst you're caning it :D it has to be heard to be believed.

    The flat plane crank of the AJP V8 makes it sound a bit odd on idle, sounds a bit rough to some people, but then put your foot down and the noise is incredible.......also they seem to 'crackle and pop' when you come off the throttle quickly, just like a race car.

    One of my favorite cars I have to say (see the dream car thread :D)
