very nice, used to have a chimaera 450 in starmist green, miss it lots :waah: but not very practical for uni :(

i definitely have a soft spot for tvrs but unfortunately ill be moving to the states after uni which means no tvr for me. when i inquired avout bringing a chimaera back they said that i would have to bring 2, one to crash and one to keep. :eeek:

well there goes my post count of 486 :waah:

anyway someone asked about keeping the thing since the doors and starter are push button. the only thing i could think of is a short range RF transmitter fob on the key ring.
get within a short range and the electronics of the car recognize the signal and "unlock" the system. IE should someone try and open the door by pushing the buttons under the mirrors without having the Fob nothing happens, and if they did mannage to get in the car and push the button to start it here again without the fob the car wouldnt start. I know some systems go so far as schould the fob leave range of the system even after it has been started it will kill the engine.

at least thats how i would have designed it.
but then again no one asked me.
