    /me thinks is would have been better if all of the badge could have been lit rather than just the centre of it ;)

    still - origional and looks good none the less :):D

    Daves previous athlon badge looked much better IMHO the bit tech badge doesnt seem to suit the led light coming through :(

    the problem was my LED , my LED had a narrow viewing angle which is one of the bad things about having a high MCD (brightness) led a diffused led with a lower rating would give the same effect as dave's which was awsome!

    unfortunatly I only have High intensity 1000/1500mcd led's non diffused.

    just did this using a high mcd and low view angle.To get it to diffuse I did the following:
    Cut out a large square behind the badge, quite thick plastic. Then on the inside I glued a plate of clear plastic to which I glued a single layer of tissue, most tissue is 3 ply so i glue 1 ply to it.... this diffused the light just enough to light up the whole badge without dulling it.
