    I wouldn't say it could replace a CCFL since it isn't as bright as one, but you may be able to light up your case to some degree with this inside, or use it to light up dim spots in the case where a CCFL wouldn't fit.

    Thanks SteveyG, perhaps I'll spend an extra few quid and get a cold cathode light instead :)

    i know everyone says bad things about ebuyer but whenever i have used them, they have always been fine. www.ebuyer.com

    £3 for a sound activated ccfl with dual inverter
    £2.50 for an extra tube and another inverter ( dont know why they include another one)

    I have bought 5 ccfls and all have been of good quality.

    the strip gives a glow like el string but doesnt output light very well.
