    I have a grid of holes (12 across by 13 down spaced about 10mm apart) that i want to light evenly.

    Placing a neon behind caused some of the hole to light TOO well with other being very dim.

    My question is would a piece of plexi with dimples drilled in it and lit by leds work well??

    x = led
    o = dimple

    given the fiber optic effect on a flat plexi with divots in it...sounds liek it would work....it may not shine out of the case much, but if you look through the holes you'd see the light.
