    My current case:
There's one 10cm CCFL, and 2 Bright blue leds inside the door of the case.

The side is handpainted, got the picture from the Thin Lizzy Album "Jailbreak"

My current project is to add a window to the opocite side of the case, here's a PS preview of what I'm planing to do...

Yes, it took me forever, i painted on my spare-time after work for a few weeks, it's all done by hand witch brush and hobby-paint.
(yeah, i do have to much spare time :) )

Very nice job! From one artist to another!!

I do wonder though, why the background was not painted?? Did you want to go for the more traditional look of the beige case or did you not care?? just currious!!

    thats a great idea

ive never seen anyone incorperate art into a window! cant wait to see :)

add a bit of gausian blur, and noise to that layer, and you wont have to do that mod, people wont be able to tell that it was photoshopped ;)

whats behind your grill to make it light up?

The image is panited of an albumcover, the original background is actuallt more gray, but i left it beige to let it melt in with the rest of the case. This way i didn't have to paint the entire case.

In the bottom behind the grill there's one blue 10 cm (about 4") CCFL.
and in the top behind the door there's 2 LED's:

That's pretty cool :) I have the same case but in blue. I'm planning to also light up the front in pretty much the same way as you. How is the CC fixed behind the grill?

I've already swapped out the boring green and red power/HDD LEDs for bright blue ones (and they light up part of my room on their own when it's dark!!)

Not knowing much about CC's (which is pretty bad being as i've ordered one) I would query that and say doesn't heat produced from the bulb melt the glue?

I Glued it at the ends, near the cable-connections,
The tube itself doesn't produce much heat at all, you can hold it your hand without getting burned.
