Linux Lightweight OS for old and weak laptop

I'm now running Mint on my Dell XPS 13, and plan on running my gaming rig on SteamOS (just as soon as my ITX case and motherboard arrive).

These are to acclimatise and prepare me for the final change, because only my daily driver is running windows now; until I build up the courage to free myself from MS completely.

 

Doesn't Windows offers the best software compatibility for your 3D printing?

 

Elegoo Slicer is just a fork of Orca - there are Linux images for both

You know where? The place I looked first where I thought they'd be but didn't see them.

Anyway it's 2x4Gb of Kingston kvr16ls11/4
1600MT/s DDR3L Non-ECC CL11 SODIMM 1.35V

You can have them both as I know they work together as I took them out of my laptop when @Krikkit kindly upgraded mine

Anyway, drop me your deets Tre and I'll get them on their way.
