Beautiful build, some lovely lighting effects from the el cable. Hope it's good quality stuff as it can fade quite fast if not. Really love the picture packed updates, clearly not a trickle update sort of build!
Hi Y'all on this very sunny day (in the netherlands) Just one small addition to the previous update. I was hoping my sleeve for the McMod was coming in this weekend, but no. So cleaned the BBQ after one year of standing still. In about an hour I'm gonna put half a cow on it, and the feast can begin. In the meantime, I was still brainstorming about the LiLi tower. I just miss something ........ I know...........the top. With the last aluminum i have, made some nice pieces. Can can afford to mess it up because the plates are EOL over here The two plates measured and marked, holes made for the jigsaw After some cutting and filing work got everything nice and straight. And the other panel, slightly different. This for the line around to continue Still need to drill the holes and the countersunk the bolts. Now, there's nothing more to do with the outside appearance of the tower (I think) The inside can still use some light, so tonight's gonna play with loose LEDs and LED strips And I'm thinking hard to put a blue color in the water. Think it is very nice effect. I've Looked for Dye Mayhem Deep Blue, I think one of the better color additives. But nowhere in the Netherlands to obtain. Belgium either, and I am just told that the dye is EOL. Now I have no experience with Feser Feser Active UV dye or blue dye active clear / blue entries, so if anyone has used it already once, please let me know! Grtzzz.
This build is awesome! Love love love it! You've changed to many things along the way, it shows a real commitment to perfection.
Thnx you guys, motm nomination is coming at a perfect moment gives me a reason to complete this build finally
Update!!! Today I've got my blue dye so I can finally show you some pictures of the case closed, and especially for the Motm nomination this update Feser View UV Dye It was transparant Add a little bit of dye Some more Add about 3 ml Power up the pump And everything turned blue One more to go Some more And everything turned blue It's now the some blue color as the illuminated glo string in the middle Other side So I can finally close the LiLi The upper right part The lower right part And the whole right side The back with the Coolermaster turbine Closed the left side And from above It's a lot of blue, but I hope you like it Just need to do some more cable manegement and put some nice lights in it So to be continued Grtzzz.
Very cool build, but how hard is it if say, you have to change the ram, video card, or worse, the motherboard? I just can't stop thinking, that if you upgrade or something goes wrong, this will be a nightmare.
Your absolutely right, It's my wurst nightmare Thanks, Hopefully this is gonna be the next motm, has been a lot of work Thnx
Hee Kier - Were do u get the time for building all those rigs. U builded the Lightning McMod so I know u have a son. If got 2 boys and they are taking up all of my time (and i love it) but building mods is a timeconsuming hobby!! so my builds a gonna take a little bit longer than yours. Looks Fantastic BTW but we told u on Tweakers.nl also!!! keep up the good work, M8.
Thnx mate, Dont know where I get the time from lol I do all my work in the evening when my kid is in bed, and in the weekend And I have a wife that support me all the way (very important) I dont like to do things twice, so better to meassure things 3 or 4 times before cutting most of the time everything works out fine, so that saves time Lately it's a bit of extreme, two or more projects at once After this projects it will be quieter (unfortunately) I think due to lack of hardware But I will get over it too, and keep on modding
Almost done with the lightning, here some preview pictures, but...............more to come I used white SMD led strips Need to make one flatcable for the aquaero, then LiLi Tower is finished
