I keep getting limited or no connectivity on my laptop which is running windows x64. I am aware that it is a common bug with sp2, so can i use the fix for sp2 on x64? The only way I an make this message go away and allow me to surf is by switching on my desktop and then the LAN gets connected properly on my laptop and works fine

    the sp2 fix

^ So would it be ok to use this method for x64?

    Thanks in advance

Well the sp2 fix did not work, it would not let me install the patch. So if anyone can help that would be great. I have a BT 5861 flashed with efficient networks latest firmware...
