    Hi Guys,

My sister in-law has just brought a Laptop with Wi-Fi g.

I've got Broadband And I was thinking if I got a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G. Would she be able to pick it up? If I configured it of course. She only lives two doors away. Say about 70metres and four walls.

Any info would be much apreicated... :D

Brick. I bet it's not even 70 metres probably only about 50m.

Also what would I have to do when I get it. Do I need to registor the IP address of the router with Blueyonder?

Probably illegal in the UK but this is really nice stuff :D .
With a correct setup you'd have several kilometers of WLAN :naughty:

If your walls are made of brick, you're probable gonna need at least a 15dbi antenna and maybe a few repeaters. But all you have to do is plug the router into the cable modem and give it some juice. And the network cards are pretty easy too. Linksys provides better than average directions with their products.
