About laptop, just paint it with a chrome spray. Its out there. About mod: Looks awesome, I think any color you choose for the case would look good with the chrome. About the M5: Need for speed hot pursuit 2 baby.
acctually i was thinking of a technique called fantachroming. gives a near perfect chrome finish to almost anymaterial dont know if you can get it in the uk though i've only heard about it in aus.

Sorry if you've already decided on what to do with the outside and I've just missed it somehow. I've sort of been reading but mostly been at the pics. I think that a black chrome exterior would look awesome with the traditional chrome on the inside. What ever you decide to do, get some sunglasses so you don't go blind. Looks awesome!
