    Is LiveWire any good?

Ive been using Circuit Maker 2000, which i find is ok, and the simulation aspect is pretty good.

Trial version of LiveWire wont let me try the simulation though. :sigh:

Simulation in LiveWire could be good, leds light up & stuff, but there are still a lot of errors in the Spice models, eg. LM324 & LM358 opamps don't swing down low enough to turn a transistor off on single-rail supply, leds are wrong voltage, some logic chips are wrong. You also can't edit the models or add any parts not in the library. Draws nice pretty circuits, but for serious results, CircuitMaker is far better and the Student version is free.

The measured voltage should be near zero & the led should be off. :miffed:
