Installing from usb? If so, have a look here if you didn't follow it already.

Hmmm have you got it plugged into sata port 1, and make sure you have the sata set to ahci mode in the bios.

You may need to create a partition when installong w7 (but thats no different from a hdd)

If you have a secondary HDD make sure you have the SSD set as the first HDD in the boot order. It took me about a half hour of cursing before I figured that out last time I reinstalled.

I have a P67 sabertooth and I didn't have to do any special to install win 7 on either of my SSD's

I disconnect my HDD when I reinstall, not sure if it's totally neccessary but I do it anyway.

Hmmm from memory on thr sabeetooth bios, you go to advanced then go to sata, then you should see an option to select the sata mode.

There will be a choice of sata, ahci or raid.

Set it ahci and give it another go. Might be an idea to unplug any other hdds just while you are installing.

Good luck matey let us know how you get on

No worries. Once windows is installed make sure you plug the ssd into the intel port. Its the fastest controller on that board.

Might have to double check the manual to see what one it is but i think its the brown ones.

I swear this new bios setup with these new boards are more difficult than the old ones. Tell you I am getting old, you find that out when you do not want things to change
