I have just re-installed XP pro on a computer at work which is a shared photo shop station. It has mulitple users and accounts. It was so screwed up that the task bar was missing and nothing worked, they had downloaded every P2P software known. Total disater. My wife has a laptop from work and it is locked so to speak. She can use it normal, and create new documents, but can't intall or remove anything. not even change the desktop backround. Can anyone tell me or point me to how this is done? I have seen this more then once in libraries, internet cafes and so on. It's perfect for this computer.

I have Googled and searched BT. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Atomic, I *think* this is what I want. The documentation is a little vauge, and I have already managed to screw it up just playing with it. Now that it's re installed, can I pick your brain on how to set it up so that it just affects the user accounts and not :wallbash: the administrator account? I can't quite make out how to limit the policies to just a certian group.

Thanks again for that link and any patience you can manage.
