I've has my Samsung s4 for over a year. I'm pretty happy with the software so I've yet to flash it. I flashed my last phone, Samsung s2 to Omega and was very pleased with it. I'm wondering how putting a newer android on an older phone will effect performance and battery life. In particular I would like to improve camera performance. Compared to an iPhone, my camera feels slow in focusing and taking photos. Should I keep an eye out for an s4 lollipop rom or would I be better suited with an alternative rom?
Performance and battery with lollipop should improve. You might get an OTA update in a few months, or else you can look on XDA for an S5 port. Give it a few weeks for things to mature though.
