What is the longest time you have ever spent in a single multiplayer game match, IE 1 game of Command and Conquer, 1 Round of any FPS, etc? My record: a three hour 27 minute and 50 something second game of Starcraft, 1v1 in a home made map Whats your record game length?
Longest i've ever played a single opponent was just over an hour in MOH. Played to 5 kills and we both kept camping....was actually a lot of fun till the other guy decided to speed it up with rockets
Humm, would have to be me and one of my old friends -Eric - during a multiplayer game of Goldeneye for N64. 4 hours and 34 minutes we spent on one level, lives we're set to 1, and the weapons we're set to "sniper". It was the "bunker" level. Each of us had our own sniper positions, and kept fireing at eachother, slowly working ourselfs down (only getting one or two shots in - obviously). Every once in a while we would go on an ammo run, carefuly evading the other. The game just kept going like that, untill I finaly decided to go for it, so I stood up (irl), punched him in the arm, lept up in the game whipping out a hand gun, rushed him while he still had his sniper scoped, and landed a head shot. He still hasn't lived it down.
3:45:30 or so secs 4v4 generals game on lan on a custom map, was funny as hell just the based then loads of money crates game went like this : first hour and half : no rushing and building army's e.t.c. next 2 hours and 15 mins : war game ended due to there being that many tanks , nukes , scuds , emps, nuke cannos , and ion cannons being fire about the same time around the middle of the map, this the end result the server crashing and a graphics card got fried ( mx 440)
Today was my longest stright run 6 hours on Starwars Galatic Battleground me and my buddy built up our armies and had one epic battle lol just let them kill each other and it took about 45 min for the final battle ..but man was it fun
I think my longest game was a 1on1 in Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. I can't remember the name of the level but it was a huge mansion. What made it hard was it was a pistols only game and we aggreed not to use the heart beat sensors. it was well over 3 hours and neither of us camped for more than five minutes at a time. It was a damn good shoot-out when we finally found each other. He ended up winning because he'd gotten indirect hits that makes it harder to aim and a more powerful gun(Desert Eagle .50) I took cover behind an open door and he unloaded on it...
4 and a half hours in a 1v1 in Age of Empires 2: The age of kings. Chinese vs britons (I was brits). Eventually won. The other guy had to leave halfway through, phone in sick, then come back lol. Only time i've ever witnessed someone doing that! 'twas back in my noobish days of course. Eventually broke the 2000 rating barrier which was pretty good going. Probably the only Northern Irish (and possibly southern) to manage it
This time last year I was spending over 12 hours a day playing EVE Online, only taking a few hours sleep and a break every now and then for lectures.
6 hours ... last night on Neocron , best Outpost war in teh world that was ... we, 20 people vs 40 people and we won after all that , a very well fought war
6 hours playing AVP. Me as predator, everyone else marines and aliens. Disc only. High School 6th form kicked ass. *n
I swear, I was quite possibly the greatest player ever at multiplayer AVP using the predator. Use the mouse scroll to switch view modes, right click to recall disc and left click to fire. Un.****ing.stoppable. *n
