I think it would be nice to have some real tests done with various VGA cables of different lengths and types, but someone who knows what they are looking for. I'd volunteer but I don't think I'd be able to convince a bunch of random companies to send me free VGA cables for review Actually, it would be nice to see a comparison with some VGA signal boosters, VGA over ethernet, different graphics cards etc. There just does not seem to be anything like that on the web at the moment. I couldn't find a single site comparing VGA cables, although I'll go take another look in a moment... MoJo
I have a 17" monitor, it looks pretty good up to 1280 x 960 (my highest res on a cheapo monitor), but I normally run at 1024 x 768 so I didnt spend too long at it. Games were no problem the biggest problem is my original raedon. In short I didnt see any problem, although with too much longer I can see, which is probably why retail they only shove a 6' extension at you.
