    Sweet! Free stuff rules.
What else is missing apart from the rear wheel though, is the rear suspension still there, engine, etc?

I'm going to start restroting my Vespas very soon (doing up my garage first) - so keep an eye out for my work log ;)

There are loads of good websites with tons of info on how to restore a Vespa, one of the best ones IMO though is http://www.scooterhelp.com/

Also, this book is pretty damn good too, more detailed pictures than the Haynes manuals although thoughs aren't too bad either.

With all due respect, is there actually anything there you can keep?

The body - it doesn't look too bad, no visible rot anyway from the pics he's posted. It will need a lot of work to get it on the road but it's a fun project :)

How much would a minter cost? More than how much this project will?

The Vespa 50 S - from late 60's - costs around 2.000,00 €. :p But you don't have half of the fan when you rebuilt one like this, by yourself.
I will spend with the V50 project more or less 750,00 €. :thumb:
