I'm looking at getting the Hydor Seltz L30 II pump for my WC system, along with some PolarFLO blocks (VGA and CPU) and a custom reservoir...I was wondering about how big I should make my reservoir (how many mL it should hold). If somebody could let me know about how many GPH I can expect running a WC system with the Hydor Seltz L30 that'd be great; it says that it's rated for about 200GPH but I know that because of resistance and stuff I won't be getting this kind of flow.

The Hydor L30 is an awsome pump. It's an Eheim 1250 in smaller clothing, quiet aswell ;)

I am aware that it's a good pump, I just wanted to know what kind of GPH could be expected so I know how big to make my reservoir. :)

i'd say get something big, theirs nothign worse than not having enough water, so don't try and play it small, atleast imo. my new system's res is gonna be designed to have enough solution in the system to continue running with evaporation long enough for me to go on vacation and run F@H the entire time muahah ^^ this is definetly not a case of less is more ^^

If you have a sealed system with no leaks, where is the water evaporating to?
