Can anyone here recommend a ide cdrw that is relatively quiet and reliable? Most importantly, I need one that has a completely flat faceplate, no extruding curves like those HP writers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    plextor plexwriter 40/12/40.

also, i just saw a plextor dvd/cdrw drive the other day too ....

i think plextors are the most reliable burners out there, ive never ever made a coaster with one, be it mine or friends boxes

My friends who i've convinced to get plextors never have problems, those who buy the cheap ones do... and all internal plextors are flat face, other than a little square indentation running along the bottom with the headphones, volume, light, and button.
