Sound recommendation there I think. I would suggest avoiding the Steelseries 5hv2 as I have found the connections between the three separable parts (for transportation) to be rather dodgy and had to ditch mine after only a year.
How about a pair of Grado SR-60is and an external mic. A bit clumsier, but the sound quality would probably be higher.
What's the differents between the creative labs sound blaster arena and the creative sound blaster arena? or its the same thing? So, creative fatal1ty mkii or creative sound blaster arena?
I have been using the Creative Fatal1ty headset for several years now... can't fault it. Despite what people say they are built incredibly well (have dropped mine several times and no damage), offer amazing sound quality (best bass I have heard on a headset) and the detachable microphone is useful too. All that for under £30. Very good value IMO. If price is no object then BOSE offer some pretty good headphones too... although no headsets unfortunately
I've got some headsets in mind but I don't know which one is better. siberia v2, razer carcharias, creative sound blaster, creative fatal1ty mx.ii . http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/peripherals/2010/01/03/the-best-gaming-headset/3 according to that review, the siberia v2 aren't so good but I've seen a lot of other reviews that said that the siberia v2 is totally great...
