    I'm looking for an absolutely no-frills, bare-bones, cheap-ass case.

    Any suggestions?

BTW this is for my new matrix mod- see my avatar

If you are looking for a moddable case I would not go with a ****ty/cheap one. Well, in my opinion. First: ****ty cases have un-removable right side panels; the right side panel is riveted in place. Secondly: You will most likely have one long and frustrating time putting in all of your hardware; some of the time your stuff just doesn’t fit. Lastly: You will get cut; no questions asked.

If you want a highly moddable case I recommend a Chieftec DRAGON or an Antec SOHO (What I am using for my current mod).

I must say one thing though. Why in the hell did you start such a dumb thread at Xoxide Forums (You know what I am typing about)? And, you ran away. Seeking a new forum. Where haterad is at a minimum. One where you figure know body would know of your stupidity on that day. The very day when you were banned. And they all hate you.

Anyways, apparently BrianH ****ed the Xoxide Forums up. And apparently he did it for fun. Yes, for fun (What a looser). He is also in trouble; he owes some guy $1000. I just had to laugh when I heard this.

Well, good luck with your project. I hope you don't buy such a ****ty ass case you; you won't know what to do with it when none of you **** fits.

(If you bought a case already, pardon me. I see that this thread was started a few days ago)

    Happy Modding!

Rivets are no problem, you jsut drill them out and put in screws in their place.

Getting cut, well, thats one of the problems with cheap cases, but it doesn't really hurt that much...

oh and BTW i didn't run away from xoxide, i got banned
    :D

BTW#@, who hates me? i wasn't aware of anyone hating me besides you

but that's ok, if you wanna hate me, go ahead. :sigh:

    good idea ;)

anyways, ebay has some pretty cheap cases, but shipping is

    INSANE!!!!!!!!

i guess that's where they regain the money they lost frm selling them so cheap

uuuhhh *drool* well that case is totally contradictary to this thread because-

    1. its freaking expensive
    2. Acrylic= not moddable

    but a cool case nevertheless

well i wouldn't say that acrylic is not mod-able. i think that this is exactly the opposite because it is a matierial that is easily drilled, dremeled, paintable (that is if you would really want to do that). i dont' know i guess that the ultimate decision is left in the hands of the modder. all i know is ever since i got my clear case i can't stop doing stuff to it. each to his own

right, but there's a HUGE margin for error. Plastic is like butter to a dremel.

painted? you mean vinyl dye, right.

well i dont' know why anyone would want to paint a clear case...because thats the point...CLEAR. eh anyway yeah definately vinyl dye. also i find that when i do any cutting on my clear case as compared to my metal one i use one cut off disk as opposed to ten or twenty. :dremel:

lol, yea, but i still prefer metal. its more workable. you can bend it, sand it, etc etc.
