I'm helping a friend with his new games website, and we've decided to add a few chat rooms covering several topics. Most free servers don't offer the level of control we're after, so we're looking into renting our own. Nothing big, 200-300 users tops. From searching around, I've found IRCD hosting is a bit of a grey area. Our web host previously offered it, but now down-right refuses due to attacks they suffered. If anyone knows of any decent hosts which offer good rates - or any other suggestions - it would be much appreciated, ta.
