    Hi all,

I just updated my pc and I want to keep an eye on the temperatures, particularly when I'm in game. On my old system I had an overlay form cpu-z which I could use but it doesn't seem to have one in the windows 8 64bit version. Anyone know where I could get a hold of one?

My games are mostly Steam based but last night I noticed my my cpu temp spiking up to 60℃ after a few minutes of gameplay on CSS with everything on high settings. It was a pain that I kept having to alt tab out to adjust my settings.

Personally I'd use a rainmeter skin measuring temperatures set to Always On Top, though there's probably more specialized software that'll do the job better.

I'm using an AMD A10-6800k so the built in graphics on that which is an ATI 7000 and something with the Cataylist control centre for the gpu.

Second for Rainmeter or Samurize. Else slap an LCD panel in your case.

I use a Logitech keyboard with a temp readout plugin. Keeps it where I can see easily.

It may not be a mech, but bugger if it isn't far more useful to me.
