Networks Looking for web hosting

Hey guys, im currently thinking about registering www.mysurname.co.uk and would then need hosting.

Im not new to webdesign etc but i am new to paid hosting as i have always gone free. ive looked at some of the big companies but i imagine some of you guys can provide this service which would be great.

Im not going to be putting a massive shop up or anything like that, id like somewhere to play with my webdesigns, host my bits of art etc really, i dont think im gonna be using any heavy resources, but of course it would be nice to have some room to expand in future.

I can pay annually etc, via paypal/nochex.

requirments:
idealy UK based?
Im hoping for a great deal,
i will be able to assign www.mysurname.com to the space without problems.

also: Any reccomendations on where to register my domain cheaply?

www.aplus.net but not uk based but cheap

 

I've got a domain with www.oneandone.co.uk and they're very good and quite cheap too. My only advice on the hosting would be to make sure you're with a decent company that people have recommended rather than one with deals that are too good to be true.
