I want to upgrade the RAM in my Toshiba Laptop. However I'm having trouble finding out what type to put in there. Usually I would just open up the bottom and look at what's already in there, but when I did, there was nothing there at all. The stock RAM is 512mb, and the maximum capacity is 2GB. All I need to know is what speed I should get. I have the complete specification of the laptop here. I also have a photo of the screen during a run of MemTest86. I have no idea how what info I'm looking for, so if anyone could pick it out for me, then that would help a lot.

Whoops, looks like I forgot to mention that my Laptop has no OS. It's in the process of undergoing a hard drive upgrade (delivery in a few days). That Crucial link, recognises the model range, but judging by the fact it says I have an ATI chipset, when in fact I have Intel (aw) it's the wrong sort. What I'll probably do is wait until I get my new hard drive and then run CPUID, or something similar. I'm hoping it's not DDR, cause that stuff's expensive.

the 915 chipset is actually DDR and DDR2 compatible, it all depends on the vendors choice on which to set it too.

Its DDR2 memory you require, PC-5300 will do nicely
