Upgrade time! Current spec: Intel Core i5 4670K @4.6Ghz ASUS Gryphon Z87 m-ATX board. 8Gb Corsair Vengence 1600Mhz RAM EVGA GTX570 GPU 22" LG TV/Monitor 1080p thingy. All housed in an FT03. Anyway, the upgrades I'm thinking of: New monitor (can use the TV in my bedroom) - something with a higher resolution that what I have otherwise, what's the point? New GPU - Maybe a GTX780 or similar? New case - The FT03 is fantastic, but it's a little cramped for space at the moment, especially with all the drives in the back. Recommendations then people?
definitely a new monitor, but seeing as you have a 1080p screen the only real upgrade path would be to a 1440p or 1600p monitor which would mean upgrading the GPU as well, unless you don't have to play every game maxed out...
That's what I'm looking at, 1440p monitors, but trying to find something reasonably priced is becoming a pain. As for the GPU, I'm pretty much looking at everything below the Titan.
What's 'reasonably priced' in your book? Also, if your not worried about waiting for the new AMD GPUs then the Asus 7970 Matrix Platinum is a steal, that is of course unless you use your other pci-e slots. http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-...8nm-gpu-1050mhz-2048cores-4xdp-2xdl-dvi-plusf
Under £350 really. As for that GPU, I would easily buy that, only thing? My Noctua cooler is slightly too wide so that it will touch the back of the PCB on GPU.

Thanks, but the site doesn't seem all that legit, something about it just screams scam.. Maybe that's just me.
Lots of people on these forums have used them and have been very happy as far as I know. Also you get a discount for being a bit-tech member.
I've never heard of them before in my life.. But bit-tech discount you say? You've peaked my interest. I'll have a look through some Google reviews.
Stick a thread up asking for others experiences, as I said I think quite a few people on here have used them.
I've not used NRG myself but I've seen a few threads praising them. Here's a link http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=260954&highlight=Nrg http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=253445&highlight=Nrg
NRG are completely legit Bought my current U2711 off of them without hassle, very good customer service, would happily use again. I'm currently using a 570 with the U27 and it's fine for me, but if you like playing games at max settings then yeah, you'll definitely need a new card.
Another happy NRG:IT customer here - I'd read bad things about the U2713HM suffering from cross hatching and backlight bleed. I contacted them and they gave one an extra good look over for me before it was sent and it's absolutely perfect I'd buy from them again without a second thought I bought through their ebay store btw which sometimes has stock not listed on the main site. Also I went for one refurbished by them instead of a Dell refurbished one to save some monies. 27" 1440p gaming is amazing - you won't be disappointed if you do go for it
All the proof I need will probably try and source a lian li A05 and get the 7970 thing liked earlier. Sent from the public toilets outside the pub.
