Lancool Dragon Lord K58 vs Thermaltake VI+MX? The Lancool is quality through and through but the Xaser is stunning, don't bother saying anything cos I've asked me friends and some ladies ATM im for the lancool because it doesn't look that bad and it walks over the Xaser in performance
Haf 932 ? ATCS 840.. I'd go with the Lancool, that thing looks pretty good and is pretty awesome. Or just get an Antec 1200.
Well his preference really, just like the HAF932, I found it much less ugly once I saw it in person, well it was also due to the lower price($119) and the fact that it blows my Antec 300 out of the water. That Said, I would've gotten the ATCS840 if it was cheaper. Just a bit of off-topic-ness. Anyways, if the LanCool is the same size(internally) as the Xaser, then go for the LanCool. However you already have the Xaser, so just keep it.
Even I admit the thermaltake is tacky... btw... no full towers, unless I need one (E-ATX motherboard) I'd prefer to stick to Mid Tower
The Xaser looks so weird and ..... ugly imho. Antec and Lian-Li will provide performance and style so get the best of both worlds, that would be my choice.
Atm im leaning towards the lancool, the modding oppurtunities are wonderful aswell... I think Im gonna make a windom my self
This is just for opinion sake but anyone got a problem with this one? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Ener...35-(external)-4x-35-inc-Red-LED-12cm-side-fan Build quality isnt up to the lancool but its got good airflow (if I add an exhaust fan) and has no bad reviews I can find I don't want a common case btw... this may sound odd but Im just like that... The Lancool is still new and so getting parts for it are impossible, i.e. the K58 has no top exhaust fans but to moun them you need this kit, because its new, I can't find it anywhere, the k62 doesnt look nice imo, I prefer something simpler, and the k60 is the perfect compromise but again... no where to be found...
It's always interesting to see someone who likes the Thermaltake/other space ships... I've always wondered why they even bother making those, but ofcourse it's all about opinions. Just get the lancool and save yourself from cursing the rubbish quality. EDIT: You just can't polish crap, even how hard some manufacturers try. I just don't like how it's always the same steel chassis underneath, no matter how flashy the exterior. This is also part of why Antec 300 is my favorite cheap case. It doesn't even try to look fancy, it's just simple, sturdy and works
Just as Jipa says, simply put. The Thermaltake looks like a cheap plastic version of the (IMO) gorgeous CM830...eew. The Lancool, Lian Li. Need I say more? Looks cleaner, better, and will perform great too.
Aww, Thermaltake. When will they learn this isn't the 90's anymore and not everyone is a twelve year old boy attracted to shiny things. They did okay once, about six years ago with the Xaser III towers (I've got one,) but it was really a modified Enermax CS-1018S. Anything they released after this is total crap imo.
Uh, the Enermax Phoenix? No. Either go with the Lancool or one of the other cases people have suggested here. Personally, if I had to buy a case tomorrow, I'd be looking for a Cooler Master Cosmos because that's what appeals to me. The newer V2's can be found on scan. If you're desperate for lights and stuff you can always buy LED fans and cold cathodes later on.
