She could have taken 240 hrs community service and paid a fine but chose prison instead. Definately not long enough. I hate that woman so much.
Why? Everyone hates her because she's a "bitch". In all fairness the only idea you can get of that woman is of her on screen. And she can quite obviously act quite well. Her performance in Lost is unsurpassed, she fitted to the character perfect. She ain't done **** to you.
She's offended me visually and audably by gracing the screen with her presence. She's a moody arrogent bitch in real life and a moody actress. I find her incredibly irritating. I can go anywhere and act constantly pissed off. I just dont like her lack of femininity, I like feminine women, even "hard" ones like Kate who can hold her own.

Finally got the spoiler tags working Spoiler You know, pretty much everyone is linked together somehow, i would'nt be surprised if we find out sawyer and jack are brothers ( not a hint, don't worry) Bit late, but episode 18. I now have a terible thing in the back of my head telling me 'it's all a dream' I would be so annoyed if it turned out to be all a dream. Don't know what episode, but Locke sees these weird halogenic lights.... I believe its like a map of other bases around the island. The Dharma iniative was testing out different things, so it said on the ancient reel they played. I believed the reel was spliced for other people in other bases, so that the reel was need too know basis. This also explains the weird polar bears and horses. The base they find is the base of zoology. I have questions, which i need answered please : 1)in one episode kate finds a doll and picks it up, jack runs to save her. Why on earth does he not stand back, does he thinks he's superman?! 2) The hatch. Ahh the mysterious hatch. People have been saying that there was no way out. But we see a food stash parachuted down. Now how did they get the food?? And if they were able to get the food, why didn't they run away from the hatch which had imprisoned them.
I remember reading somewhere that the creators of Lost said that it definately was not all a dream in the mind of one of the survivors so you can rest assured that they won't spring some cop-out like that on us like so many bad movies and series. 1) Jack just wants to push Kate away from the spot where the doll lies, yeah it would have made more sense if he'd stayed where he was but the trap could equally have been something like a falling log in which case he might have saved her. 2) I have no idea what you're talking about. Who said there was no way out of the hatch?
Yup its true. I find in all the movies iv seen her in shes type casted this way, SWAT, Resident evil and now this. I think they just throw her in front of a camara and say "read these lines while simply being yourself" and bam.
I think he means the fact it said "quarentine" allthough the running guy knew there was an exit. So I suppose the 'hatch workers' would use the guns to protect themselves (from the coca-cola pola bears) while they collected the food rasions.
Thank god, it's not all a dream. Great twist though.... I don't know who said that she a moody b**ch in real life, but they really shouldn't say it based on movies. In movies, she like a hard woman, shes casted that way and has that rough look. So if you think she's moody in movies, it's becasue it's casted that way. Also, my question was really, why didn't the workers escape from the hatch. They had the resources to kill any polar bears, surely. The way desmond runs away from the hatch, suggests that it's not the greatest of places to be....so....if anyone could clarify
Because of the button. Somehow they convinced the worker(s) that they couldn't let the counter reach zero. Once Desmond saw Locke and Jack he thought they were his replacement (after all I think he mentioned something about his replacement being several years overdue). The rations that were parachuted down are a bit weird. They only appeared after the counter did reach zero (or maybe after the random 'lockdown' happened). I think we have yet to find out what they were really about.

And if not, what explains the freaky ultra violet lights, and the heiroglyphic symbols. Has any one wondered what would actually happen if they let the counter fall to zero....
