hmm ive read there will be a lunar eclipse tonight/tomorrow
i guess ill keep a lookout at 3am
Yes, I'd like to see another one, but I simply can't stay up that early. Damnit.
Eastern Time here.
Guess I will go out and have a look.
crap, just looked outside, its really cloudy, i MIGHT get to see it still.
Ahh FFS I'm so tired I just can't watch this. Plus it's been cloudy all day
Bah it would be on the foggiest day ever!
too cloudy for me in glasgow
too many clouds to see jack all in ipswich which is a pity I've only every seen one lunar eclipse.
no clouds here, its about halfway right now. I took a pic of it. not that good though, you can tell what you are looking at but my little fuji finepix wasn't really ment for taking pics of the sky. i'll think about snapping a few more, but really, once the eclipse is complete, i'm just taking a picture of blackness.
Was just watching it, but the telescope we have was missing the lens I needed for it
Guess I'll have to wait for the next one...
I'm up and I bloody missed it!
some bad news for every one This is the last total lunar eclipse until December 21, 2010,
however heres the good news a lunar eclipse doesn't have to be full. heres a list of all the lunar eclipses and types leading up o the next FULL lunar eclipse.

and heres where I got the Info
Spent a couple hours staring at the lunar eclipse with binoculars. A trailing transparent edge was on the shadow as it slowly started to cover the surface. The Moon turned a peach color and as the light came back changed to a rust brown. The cold air numbed my hands but it was worth it.
I was lucky enought to get home from work and it actually was going on as I stepped out of the car. Isnt that like, so cool?! :nerd:
Perhaps the galaxy is trying to tell me that I am a god or something! :winksateveryonewhoisreadinghissillypost:
it wasnt too exciting. watched for a few minutes and tried to take a pic but didnt want to get the tripod so it didnt work well. sky was perfectly clear here.
The sky was a really pretty red colour and I could just about make out the moon getting smaller through all the cloud and fog. Boo for rubbish weather
It was nice here. I was surprised how dark it was a t totality as the other ones I've seen in the last few years were much redder. I never thought I would reach the point where I'm kind of "meh" on lunal eclipses, but I think i'm there.
I was intending to stay up but I fell asleep.
Pity, never seen one I don't think and its like 3 years til the next one.
typical, the day after, the sky was clear and i could see the moon perfectly
it started at ~8pm in Wisconsin and the moon was gone at ~9pm
