Modding M3 Thread - 2.8mm or 2.4mm drill?

    Yo, im going to drill holes and thread them for M3 screws. I only have a 2.8mm and a 2.4mm drill. Which should I use?

    2.5mm is the correct size, therefore my vote goes to the 2.4mm drill. with 2.8mm, there might not be enough material left...
