mac address's?

    does anyone know how i can find out the mac address of my USB ports?

    assuming windows:

    start -> run -> 'cmd' -> ipconfig /all [enter]

    All details will be shown, look for the hardware address of the particular usb connection :)

    thanks for that RTT, but i was hoping to be able to find it without having to plug the modem into it.

    but i did anyway..lol

    it doesn't have one unless there's a piece of networking hardware attached to it... the mac address you're actually finding is that of the modem, not of the USB plug

    USB plugs can sometimes have IRQs though
