Mac Screen on a PC??

    Can it be done, i like the super swanky monitors that u get with the new power macs, but i cant use mac's can u by the screen and then use it with a PC?

    yes as fare as i know they use standard connectors (dvi)
    edit:: as long as your graphis card can run 1680 x 1050+ and has Dvi

    The newest NVidia cards are the only ones certified to work with the 23" I think.

    no thats the 30"

    edit:: do not know but the 9800 pro or fx5950, anything higher than that should work well.

    looks like it would run on a 9600pro but do not know how it would cope

    so by the time i can actually afford all the stuff for my new comp next year i should be ok graphic card wise, coolies!!!

    now, would getting thr FX 53 be a bit extreme?? :hip:

    Nothing is too extreme if you have the money to blow on it.

    If you don't have the money and don't absolutely need it, then its too much.

    ah well i will have the money by then, lol and i dont wanna have to upgrade too soon after so it should be ok
