Apple Macbook pro or macbook air

    Hi guys
    Im wanting to get my daughter a macbook for christmas she wants something that she can send items from her iphone to her macbook and vice versa but i dont know if i should get a macbook pro or a macbook air,need help guys,thank you

    The air was just £899 this last week. If that’s all she is after doing you won’t see a difference between it or even the 16” M1 max!

    Performance is incredible, it is silent and the battery is brilliant. The screens are pretty good too!

    Just collage work buddy, needs to be able to send stuff from her iphone pro max to the macbook and vice versa buddy

    Most people just use cloud services for that, which computer or phone you have doesn't really matter in this case either machine will do.

    For example if she uses Office 365 via her education establishment, you could sync via OneDrive as you'd have 5Tb of dsic space free but equally you could use any of the cloud providers like Google Drive etc. If she has iCloud then you can put that on a PC also to sync her phone content to computer.

    Do you know what services she is using?

    Also what sort of size screen will she want, the air might be small for somethings? I would go Air personally, nice bit of kit at reasonable money, but I like small screen laptops and don't have requirements like numpad etc, the larger screen stuff from apple like the pros are another level price wise.
