im building a 12v/off/7v baybus, but i need it to use 3 leds for each switch (i need a led to come on in the off position)...i found this schematic here on bit, and modified it to what i would figure would light a led in each of the 3 positions.....could someone please verifiy this or correct it if im wrong...thanks. (this is not going to be a regular baybus with a bunch of leds sticking out of a face plate...but more on that after i get the schematic right)
See a small problem the off light will never go out, as its always connected to the live and ground wire regardless of switch postition. if you follow the wire round you can see it wont go out, unless thats what u want. (no short circuits unlike one i saw at Hardforum LOL) [[[I could be wrong but thats how i see it]]]]]]
stupid me....ya, that will have the off led on all the time.....i only want it to come on when the switch is in the off position.....i might be out of luck eh... i guess i would need some kind of "on, on, on" switch instead of an "on, off, on" switch
you could use a transistor circuit to make your third LED come on when the other two are off. If you want i can probably draw one up, but can't do it at the mo cos its like 2 in the morning.
