Windows Macromedia - closed source, closed minds

    I figured since this is about software, I'd post it here. I just finished talking with a macromedia developer and apparently they are never planning on making a linux version (even if it is closed source) because they either don't think the market is there, or they're just plain lazy.

    Supposedly their relationship with apple is still at the holding-hands phase, but macromedia seems a bit nonchelant about keeping or dropping them.

    After my conversation, I must say I feel very differently about macromedia. Unfortunately there isn't an equal in sight. (Sorry, but front page, go live, quanta, bluefish, screem don't even come close)

    They also seem to drop products and support when they become less profitable, reguardless of how many people have invested in it in the past.

    Not quite the type of attitude I want to encourage.
