    Hopefully :D

If we, the consumers got one of the many things we wanted, which is: affordable sensibly priced software/games/dvd/music there woud be a lot less piracy. For example, one of the main reasons a lot of people own 'funny' copy's of XP is normally because of the price, who wants to spend £100 on an OS that for a large ammount of its time was an absolute pile of rubbish, and then by the time its all working fairly well your told theres a new shinyer version with extra bell and whistles that you have to buy otherwise you wont be able to x y and z ?

The only people I know who have a real copy have got it pre installed on there off the shelf computers, I really cant think of anyone I know who has actually bought an authentic copy... Appart from me of course :worried:

TBH even if Bill droped his prices by a third he'd make more money, I reckon a hell of a lot more people would buy it legally and chances are people would buy a lagitimate copy the next time round.

The fact that you can actually sell or trade in your old licence for a new one is a great idea, it could also mean afordable software for the developing countries who are way behind on technology :)
