Cooling Made my own ... ph34r my l33t sk1llz !!!

So today me and my CNC man had an adventure ... we made a nrothbridge cooler I designed out of C110 Copper. Here are some pics of the final product and the machine we used :











The base is is flatter than flat ! And you can actually see your image mirror in that block with 1m distance ! Gonna make the top tommorrow if I can - gotta get project G5 done first. Our adventure ended with 2 broken 2mm milling bits and one really cool nForce2 northbridge cooler.

Thats great...nice looking block! Have you decided on what type of top your going to use?

 

Hmmm ... that's the crap part. I've only got one more day left, till my job ends there. And I have to drive around half the day tommorrow. So either my CNC man is nice enough to make me a clear top out of polycarbonate ( 10mins work ) or I'll have to make a simple alu top myself on the normal milling machine when I get back tommorrow afternoon. So I'll have to see ... I'd favour the poly top ...
