Hey everyone, my roommate has been a member on here for awhile, he thought you guys could help me out. Here's my system.......

    AMD Barton 2500+
    Zalman Flower
    512MB Crucial 2700 DDR
    A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 Mobo
    Gforce 5600 256MB
    WD Harddrive 40GB
    DVD rom (sony)
    CD burner (sony)
    A drive (why?)

Basically, every time I use a high bandwidth on the internet via playing an online game or downloading something....I get the blue screen of death. The error is always different, and it always mentions a memory problem. It says to resolve the issue in the updating of the BIOS. This is done, still have the problem. Now I'm getting a win32k.sys error. I replaced the file with another copy from my roommate's comp.....still have the error. I'm at a loss, I have no clue what to do at this point. We think it's due to a RAM issue, and the Mobo doesn't like Crucial RAM for some reason. Any help or advice would be nice.

Sounds like a power problem. Try upping the RAM voltage and getting a new PSU.

The voltage on the card is set at 1.6V, default is 1.5V. The PSU is a 400W PSU. Hope that helps........

Upping the RAM voltage won't do jack. If it can't run reliably at the default voltage, than it's a piece of **** to begin with, no matter what voltage it's running at.

Three components that are probably doing this are RAM, PSU and mobo. PSU is more or less of a long shot as the problems would most likely be more random in nature, although you should check the BIOS to see if voltages look normal (if they are, it still doesn't mean they're the problem).

If you can, try to get hold of a replacement for each, doesn't have to be high quality or even permanent (if you have friends w/ similar configurations, this would be a good time to call in a favor).

My money's on the motherboard. I've unfortunately gone through two different mobos w/ this proc, both having died, most likely, due to static. First one, IDE controller died (I barely managed to install Windows, and couldn't get any drivers to load, then running Partition Magic for some unknown reason, it crashed horribly, corruping quite a bit of my D: partition....the one with all my vids and MP3s). Second one needed to be coaxed into booting up by leaving the PSU plugged in, system off, for a while. The more I disconnected, the longer the wait, until finally it just kicked the bucket.

Ok, the mobo is 2 days old. It was put in by an A+ certified tech. I would be willing to bet that its not the mobo, but anything is possible.

    Current voltages are.....
    +12V - 11.904
    +5V - 4.945
    +3.3V - 3.28

    Temps are......
    31 deg.C on the processor
    19 deg.C on the mobo

My bet is on the RAM, but it's never had a problem before, and its from a pretty reputable company.

I have to really doubt those temp claims, unless you live in an igloo, as 19°C case temp in the middle of summer in Ohio is just about impossible unless the AC is about 6" away. And 31°C for a the proc requires one HELL of an air cooler or WC setup.

    But that's not the issue.

Bring the rig to the place you got it from and make try different RAM and PSU. The mobo may have been a bum part from the beginning, so don't rule that out.

I second that. Its not that ther mobo model itself is bad, it may just be a defective part and need replacing (with the same thing). Regardless of where you bought it and who installed it, theres a chance it may have been defective to begin with out the factory door.

Ive also seen alot of posts regarding crucial ram with NForce2 boards. See if you can borrow a different stick and throw it in there.
