Sorry, I have it running on Vista 32bit.
hey guys great work!!!!!
im ready to assembly mi usb lcd controller!!! when ready i post some photos!
check this is a info ir remote in a pic 18f2455 and 18f2550
maybe you can add to your proyect!
Vista 64 bit is working fine. Ihave had it running on my PC at home for months
as far as i remember the latest .inf file from microchip works fine with vista 64bit.
otherwise the link i posted earlier in the thread worked as well from memory.
If these dont work for you let me know and ill find the .inf file im using and post it somewhere
Scorpia, please post them!
I have tried the official 2.3 version from Microchip but it doesn't work. I have a modified version of the code and lost the sources - made a custom graphic lcd - displaying text and/or graphics.
If your INF can help it will save me a lot of re-coding.
I don't know why but every time i try to open the pcbs image i see all with a smaller resolution. And are incomprehensible. Could someone send me the fist circuit scheme and the pcb by email?

Tnx to all
my circuit is done!
thx to all
I read in the post that you can add a splash screen to lcd2usd
you can sent me a modified hex file or better the source code!
try both of the files listed on the link from this post.
if that doesnt work then please can you post what is happening. ie is it giving error messages etc.
Thanks, have tried both of them a big while ago, none worked, they put out some error that the hardware could not start. The error was the standard one that everyone got, something with code 10 if I remember correctly.
Sadly I lost the sources and can not recompile using the new 2.3 version. The original project used microchip's 1.3 cdc release.
In the mean time I took out the same project made for a serial port and just fitted a FTDI chip there but the speed isn't so great as with 18F2550.
can you email me the 5 button code you made
It will be a few days...I just got the dreaded Blue Screen of Death on my Vista box...which is where the source code is (of course). Once I get that sorted out I will send it to you.
ch424 I send you a PM with my emailadress and a request for the source code.
Could you please send it to me?
Thanks in advance!
Would somebody be able to send me a hex file as well please (preferably for 18f4550, but I'm sure with google's help I can figure out how to modify it)
First post sorry just wondering is this compatible with CrystalControl 2 software and will you be making a controller compatible with Graphic displays with controllers such as KS0108? Thanks
Seems to be one for the KS0108 here
Hi, I have a PIC18F2455.
It has different amount of FLASH, for these reason the code must be adapted to this device.
Is there any HEX to this device for?
Can you send me a copy of source code? (I can modify it for 18F2455)
Thanks a lot.
PD:Sorry for my English.
looks like a quality bit of kit, have to get the skills to make it
i hope i'm not bumping this thread=/ i have vista 64 bit and i was thinking on runing a gadget or winamp or something like this on a small nokia 3310 lcd. (i guess you've seen such projects). the problem is, i don't have a serial port, so i can't do that. then i saw this forum. i really like all of your designs! they're awesome =D. could anyone make me a PCB and program the PIC? i would pay you
Works great for me in Vista x64 SP1
The source code links would be most appreciated
Keep the modding up
I recently installed windows 7 (x64) beta
if you follow the steps for a Vista x64 installation it works perfectly !!
I just finished my controller.
I had some troubles but I managed to solve them. =)
