OK, modding my PC case at the moment (an ancient scaleo 600 case), And i've done most of the prep work, cept for one thing.

At the front i'm planning to have a blowhole. I've made the hole in the metal chassis, but I was wondering, to put the blowhole in the plastic, am i better using a Holesaw, a dremel, or something else?

Basically, this is my first mod, and although it's not going to be immense, I still don't want to screw it up.

    Thanks

I did one just fine using a holesaw. The key is to have the right RPM and use a drill press. Also make sure to cool the holesaw with water throughout the cut, and if possible have a piece of wood on the reverse side to prevent cracking and such when the hole saw breaks through. Check my orbitoid project log. I thought it was going to be hard, but it was relatively painless

and if you dont have a hole saw use a dremel as close to the line as possible without going over then use your trusty file to smoothe things out. The benifit ove metal of course is that you can always bonod any mistakes and paint. I suppose you can do that with metal too but it seems like you're more likely to paint plastic than metal
