I'm making a PC60 replica for a *nix server here at home, and I just noticed I don't have any dimensions of the front bezel.

Does anyone have the dimensions? (fan placement, drive bay placement, power button placement, etc)

Come to think of it, back pannel dimensions would be great too, although I've already pooched the depth of it by a quarter-inch :(. Maybe now there won't be any trademark/copyright issues? :p

After I get at least halfway through I'll start posting some pictures and start up a project log, but until then I'll just keep asking questions in here.

    Great!

Now I just need a few final things (now that I've got the main front pannel done, along with power/reset buttons!)

If you could just let me know what A, B and C are, I'd be very greatful :)

As for the motherboard tray and back pannel, I think I'll just customize it to my motherboard, since I don't plan on changing it anytime soon.

Would a plexi tray work, or would that build up static sliding in and out? (this won't be a metal case) If it would build up static, could I just ground the plexi, or is that just dumb?

Plexiglass doesn't conduct electricity so you would need to put a grid of wire around the whole thing to try and dischage any static build up. Or... Just use that Novus polish made for plexiglass/acrylic, lexan, and other assorted plastics. It is supposed to help reduce static build up. and it keeps your case nice and clean. Other than that I wouldn't worry too much about the static. If you do worry about it just make sure everything metalic in the case is grounded to the power supply.

But thanks to everyone for helping.

Tomorrow I should be able to knock out the main portion of the case (maybe not the bezel, but the part behind the bezel, which I still needed the measurements for)

As for the static, I think I'm just going to use an old metal case for the motherboard tray, because I really don't want to goof around with that. The problem is the salvaged motherboard tray will be the only metal part in the case other than the components themselves, so I'm a bit worried, but we'll see.

I'll post some pics tomorrow when I've got some of it done. Thanks again! :thumb:
