Windows Making Patition gone terrible wrong

    i wantet to install knopix on harddisc
    then i needet to make a 2nd petition my hardisc is a 80 gb fat 16
    wel i made a mistake with the patition.
    now windows does not wanna launch anymor
    how do i fix this :waah:

    If you are on Win98: get a bootdisk, boot up to DOS, then type:
    > fdisk /mbr

    If you are on Win2K/XP, boot into the recovery console, and type:
    > fixmbr

    That should do the job

    yeah, they will "likely" fix the problem. However i had this once before and the only solution i came up with after tryign them options was to format the hard drive! and even then i lost 2 gig :-/ "again".

    1)Get yourself a copy of partition magic 8.0
    2)Stick your HD into a computer that works, install PM8
    3) Fix your problems with PM.
