Maybe it's just my filthy imagination, but the "putting a cork in it" option sounds painful.

Sounds great to me. Ok, so men have access to condoms, but they break and at times they simply aren't used. People on both sides of the gender divide being able to prevent themselves from accidentally getting into a situation they don't want to be in is excellent, and I think viable and easy to use male specific contraception will sort out a lot of the ******** that exists right now about abortion rights, child support money, parental rights etc.

Yup, being able to become temporarily sterile at a young age (16? 18?) then getting your potency back when you're ready for a kid would be pretty useful.

So maybe something should be made that women can use, which doesn't create a hormonal imbalance like the Pill/mess up their 'cycle' etc.

Of course there's not much that can be done to prevent STDs, so I guess condoms aren't going to be going away any time soon.

Problem with that approach is that the only kids responsible enough to have it done are the kind that you'd want eventually having kids (think Idiocracy). I don't imagine too many chavs are for getting plugged up, or whatever their American slang equivalent would be either.

Holding out for a male pill. Some women (30+) whose biological clock is just ticking down cannot be trusted with contraception ("I'm on the pill - promise"). I'm sure men do this too, but women already have the pill.

this sounds awesome! My gf has been taking the injection for the last 2 years and had to stop because it was recommended to do so! This sounds great, I sure as hell dont want kids and neither does she. I've got a degree to get through and she's gotta find a job, kids are a long way off
