Ironically, the wrongdoer ends up punishing himself. Especially if the courier turned out to be DHL or Fedex --how well do they treat their parcels again? :p

Small price to pay. Then again they could just look up where the box is with online tracking and find out he's probably still sitting in a depot somewhere.

"When the weekly express courier arrived to pick up several boxes of merchandise, the one containing the prisoner was also loaded into the back of the lorry.

Shortly after it had passed through the prison gates, the inmate made his dash for freedom by cutting a big hole in the tarpaulin of the lorry and jumping off."

Yep he's probably in the depot. :D

Makes Prison Break (the TV series) look like a joke.

If they used this to begin prison break, next week would be the courier's truck breaks down as they pass through the gates, next week the truck is repaired, makes it out but micheal can't cut his way out of the lorry as it has steel sides, and he falls asleep waiting for the truck to reach it's destination, and next week we find out that the destination for this load of stationery is a police station, etc... 60 episodes later, we still haven't escaped, have been nearly killed 50 times and wish we just kicked back in prison instead.

I like prison break, but damn, live happily ever after already!

edit: awesome escape btw, mail yourself out in a box!
Security must have been thinking: "Prisoners won't do anything shifty, loading boxes that weigh around 100kg and big enough to fit a person inside. :hehe:

The best part is the German government had probably paid for freight.
