Take that back! With the writers, director and producer this film has i'd be very very surprised if it was anything less than awesome.

We all know Kevin Costner is past his prime or at least was. But ignoring that fact, I bet it's going to be an awesome film. A brit actor playing Superman. Anything has to be better than Superman Returns.
Very, very true. The one big plot hole in that drove me nuts. Not to mention that the acting was hammy as hell.
I met Chris Evans once he was a complete and utter tool bag. Some guys asked him to sign a Superman Returns photo he out right refused. Possibly to distance himself from such a ham fisted crap film. I feel this new Superman is going to be awesome. Probably only big issue being, Christian Bale will not do a Justice League movie playing Batman as there will be too many people hogging the screen time.
Looks promising. I actually though Brandon Routh was quite good as CK/SM, except for one issue. He said about two freaking words the whole film. Anyway, roll on 2013.

AM I the only one who thought that Superman Returns wasn't really that bad. At least, it wasn't so bad that the franchise required such an immediate reboot. Nevertheless, never underestimate the ability for a good team to make a crap movie. I'll withhold most of my judgement until a real preview is released. What we're seeing here doesn't really tell us anything about the movie, other than it looks like we may be getting yet another gritty, conflicted hero story. Edit: Oh, but the Lord of the Rings music was a nice touch. I kept waiting for Superman to dive down and save Gandalf from falling, then take on the Balrog.
You know I am glad that this trailer was limited. Sp many good or bad films simply spoilt but trailers showing all the best scenes!
Really excited about the new Superman. Cast looks fairly good, and has a dark/gritty/serious feel to it (which = winning ingredient in comic movie). It depends, he was quite good in Mr. Brooks.
Superman returns was the only film where my entire group of friend have agreed it was a waste of money. £5 I'll never get back.
