What a legend, I absolutely love Civ2, definately my favourite of the series, I've played it to death but never to that extent. As Margo said I will have to dig out my copy and have another game!!
Heh - this makes the 300 hours I have put into CIV 5 and the 200 or so hours I put into CIV4 seem like barely anything! To put that into some perspective - I could probably have learnt to fly a commercial passenger plane in that time!! God knows what he could have achieved in all those hours over a decade!
Why do people feel it's a great achievement to spend 10 years playing a game? Sounds kindof sad to me. Very sad.
Because we're in the Gaming Section part of the forums, here we're proud about what we achieve in games, its like obtaining someones tags on Battlefield 3. He plays the game he loves and hasn't stopped loving, whats wrong with that?
Well he hasnt been playing it ten years. He has had the same save game going for ten years. Its no different from someone playing each of the civ series over the past decade......its just that this person stuck with the one game and the same save!! I wonder if he is still using the same pc
Just remember you're still posting here because I say you can. Remember that other guy by the name of Ellesworth Toohey Fountainhead who thought he was untouchable? Well he doesn't post here any more because I said he couldn't. Bing bong. I got a friend who plays CSS every night after work. When he's on vacation he spends his spare time playing CSS. It's the only game he plays. I like CSS but playing it for 12 months was enough for me. Nice to see it once in a while but not to play religiously.
