Grrrr. they should just put an 'Adult Content' Warning on and be done with it.

has anyone is japan been sued for making porno ?
same principal, if people dont like it dont buy it. dont send the publisher to prison because of it.

i love manga, tis a shame if they had to start censoring it because of this.

ive not had the chance to see the last 2, as the dvd releases weren't done by manga, and the quality wasnt all that good. the first 2: "legend of the overfiend" and "legend of the demon womb" ive seen.

worth watching the last 2 ?

I'm not one for pornographic material in manga. Although I think censoreship might bring about the demise of the freedom of manga. I have no problem with nudity in a non-sexual manner. I've always enjoyed a lot of managa and anime because of the fact that they aren't censored yet, for the most part, are decent in content.

i find magna to be another stupid form of crap cartoon from japan; only this time its geared toward the 30-year-old-virgin-nerd, or just weird people who need some.

    just my 2c

about censoring: rate it appropriatly for that country and there shouldn't be an issue. I hate censorship. (sorry mods, but i disagree with it here even. then again the flaming that would be had would be herribly annoying and immature)

I dont think you quite understand. Manga doesnt refer to simply sexually explicit japanese cartoons, its a massively diverse cultural media. In the west its typical for people who are seen reading comic books to be called nerds or geeks or whatever, but in the east everyone reads them. Its just another form of mass-media that covers every subject.

I cant help you if you dont like the style of cartoon, but dont generalise things into a category when you dont undetstand ;)

Very true. Many many popular animes come from their manga counter-part. They are very popular. I don't really care if you like anime/manga or not (as a lot of people don't), but don't generalize me, thank you much ;) .

I love manga. Its even better if you watch it in Japanese with the english subtitles. Japanese sounds really cool

sorry for offending anyone, but anime in general sucks *in my opinion*. I just find cartoons to be for children, thats all.

So does my house mate, its not for everyone. ;)

djengiz - manga is the drawn "comics", anime (japanime) is the animated variety.

I always wonder why people think that anything drawn is for the kids. That's like saying all video games are for kids. It's a bad misconception I think.
